• Information Privacy & Policy Branch of the Ministry of Management Services, 
  • has a website dedicated to the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), which includes a Hot Line you can call for specific information
  • has developed several tools to help organizations comply with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

   

• The Ontario Information and Privacy Commissioner has endorsed a tool created by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) and its American counterpart, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). These organizations have issued the AICPA/CICA Privacy Framework, including the AICPA/CICA Trust Services Privacy Principles and Criteria. Click here for more information.
